Princess Cruises is inviting travel agents to take part in a competition to win a Caribbean cruise.
The winner will set sail on Regal Princess at the end of 2017, when the ship will have the new Ocean Medallion technology onboard. The prize includes return flights from London.
The cruise is on offer to the winner of ‘Princess Presents: The Variety Performance’, which will take place at the CLIA conference on May 25 in Southampton. The show will involve three agents, who have made it through an onboard audition process, performing a talent of their choice on stage.
To enter the competition, agents should send a clip of themselves performing their chosen talent. The clip must be no longer than 30 seconds and submitted by April 7 in the form below, either as an mp4 file or as a YouTube link.
Five entries will be chosen to go through to the auditions on April 20 on Caribbean Princess when she is in Southampton. Onboard, the five auditionees will showcase their performance to a group of judges. They will also get an exclusive ship tour and dining experience and receive a £50 lifestyle voucher.
From the five, three finalists will be chosen to perform at CLIA. The three finalists will be allocated a mentor – Tony Roberts, VP of Princess Cruises UK and Europe, Andy Harmer VP operations & director of CLIA or Lucy Huxley, editor of Travel Weekly. Their mentor will support and promote them in the run up to the event.
A live audience will choose the winner.
The two runner-ups will receive tickets to top entertainment shows in the UK.
Entrants must be available on April 20 and May 25.
