The Global Travel Group is reporting a 15% increase in bookings year-on-year.
The strong start to 2017 has seen cruise bookings up 20% across the membership’s base, with package sales 10% up on 2016.
Members’ top performing destinations for 2017 so far include Dubai, Greece, Cyprus and the Caribbean – all up between 5-10% year-on-year.
Bali, Thailand and Malaysia are also performing well across the group with sales up by 10%t year-on-year.
The consortium launched its biggest turn-of-year campaign in December. The #LoveTravel campaign gave Global’s members can a suite of free seasonal marketing tools and design assets tailor-made for their businesses.
Andy Stark, managing director, The Global Travel Group said: “It’s fantastic to see such great performance across the group with many of our members’ hard work in the run up to peaks really starting to really pay off.
“These recent enhancements to our intranet ‘Horizon’ are proving really popular with record downloads of the LGBT toolkit and new royalty free images.”
