Four travel consultants have featured in a Flight Centre Australia Day promotion after appearing in the agency chain’s first YouTube advert.
Lucy Rosa, Amar Lall, Tara Wood and Abraham Christi were selected to feature in a photoshoot in iconic London locations to illustrate how appealing a holiday in Australia would be compared to the freezing January conditions in the capital.
Rosa donned a wetsuit and carried a Flight Centre-branded surfboard around the city while Lall, Wood and Christi had a supporting role as extras in the background of each of the shots.
The images were distributed to national press, accompanying the news of Flight Centre’s flash sale of 26 return flights to Australia for £429 on Australia Day last week.
They had previously starred in Flight Centre’s online advert which showcased its employees’ expertise by featuring real consultants.
They were selected from a short list of 12 from across the 84-strong UK branch network.
The company put a five figure media spend behind the advert and claimed more than 250,000 impressions in the first week.
Lucy, manager of Flight Centre’s Camden store in London, said: “It’s great to see Flight Centre including its consultants in its projects to really highlight what the company is all about.”
