Product Manager (French Speaking)-London-Travel Management
Product manager required to manage the day-to-day performance, development and operations of particular VFB programmes in line with sales and profit targets while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The Product Manager will be required to work closely with the Managing Director in many areas listed below, in particular where product development and contracting are concerned. He /she will be providing marketing and sales promotion initiatives and product quality control procedures, programme enhancement and development will be based on new ideas, analysis of customer complaints and questionnaire feedback plus regular reviews of the programmes and their position in the marketplace via annual competitor comparisons, all in line with company philosophy and profitable operation in line with budgets. He /she will establish and develop effective procedures for operating the programme and its intricate administration - this programme needs excellent organisational skills. This function is particularly relevant to relatively new products where little or no track record exists or to products where significant rapid growth has taken place. He /she will to be focussed on self-development, to take full advantage of any training given by practice and application, making the MD aware of any additional training requirements and in general managerial duties on a rota basis with other members of the management team. The successful person will have fluent spoken and written French the ability to write clear, accurate and expressive English an extensive knowledge of the European geography and culture, especially France and Italy gained from within the travel industry. He/she will have the ability to work under considerable pressure and to tight deadlines with drive and determination with a clean driving licence and a willingness to undertake extended contracting and inspection trips abroad.
