EasyJet yesterday reported robust growth in both passenger numbers and its load factor in June.

The total number of passengers booking seats on its flights stood at 5.4 million, up from five million in the same month last year.

The load factor rose 1.6 percentage points on the prior year to 89.9%.

The passenger total rose 7.5% to 57 million over the 12 months to the end of June.
