Holiday add-ons specialist Essential Travel has increased commission levels for travel trade affiliates across its portfolio of products.

The supplier is offering enhanced rates for the rest of the summer to both its higher-volume Top Affiliates and smaller Active Affiliates.

Top Affiliates can now earn 25% on travel insurance, up from 17%, and both airport parking and hotels rates have been raised from 10% to 14%.

Bigger increases have been made to airport lounge sales (5% to 12%) and car hire insurance (5% to 20%).

Active Affiliates are being offered lower remuneration rates across the board but can still earn 20% for travel insurance and 15% for car hire insurance.

Stuart Bensusan, Essential Travel sales director said: "We are looking upon this as a great way to build stronger working relationships with our affiliates, and grow everyone's business through offering value for money products that the travelling public needs.”

Agents can set up affiliate accounts with Essential Travel on its website where it can track earnings in a ‘my account’ portal.
