The Orlando Tourism Bureau is giving discounts to tourists stranded by the iceland volcano ash cloud.

There are close to 40 offers on hotels, restaurants, theme parks and waterparks.

Chief executive Gary Sain said: “Our members and the entire community understand the stress that the disruption in air service has had on those travellers that are trying to get home.

 “We hope that these offers will help relieve the stress and provide them with an opportunity to smile a little more while they enjoy their stay in Orlando.”

To receive the offers travellers must provide proof of travel disruption by showing an original airline ticket or voucher for air travel from April 14 until normal air service returns.

The offers page will be updated daily with additional savings from Orlando Tourism Bureau members.
