Ashford based Nextescape.co.uk ceases trading

Ashford-based travel agency Nextescape.co.uk ceased trading on Friday.

The agency was a member of the Hays Travel Independence Group. A spokeswoman for the consortium said there were only a small number of forward bookings and Hays Travel would honour these.

A spokesman for the agency said he would be winding up the business  in the next few days. He said: "At the moment we can still take calls and advertise if we want to."

The agency specialised in all-inclusive holidays to Spain, Greece and the Caribbean.

ABTA confirmed that Nextescape.co.uk had closed for business.
