Advantage boss John McEwan and Britaly Travel director Daniele Broccoli are going head-to-head in travel association ABTA's first chairmanship election.

For the first time, the 1,380 ABTA members have the opportunity to vote for the chairman. Members received their forms on Wednesday and must return them by June 10 at 5pm.
Members have one vote each. The membership includes 604 agent head offices, 295 tour operators and 481 joint tour operators and agencies. To win, a candidate must secure more than half the votes.
There are no rules restricting campaigning activities. The elected chairman will take immediate office.
