VisitBritain chief Christopher Rodrigues has called 2009 a definitive moment for British tourism, as recession and a weak pound make the destination more attractive to both domestic and overseas markets.
As British Tourism Week (March 23 - 29) highlights the importance of the industry to our economy, Travel Weekly is joining calls for the trade to support UK tourism. Currently agents sell just 4% of domestic breaks.
