Thai Airways reduces fuel surcharges

(19 November 2008)

Thai Airways has reduced its fuel surcharges on both domestic and international routes.

As the cost of oil falls to just over $54 a barrel, the surcharges on all international routes will be reduced by around 30%.

The change will see surcharges on the London Bangkok route fall from $215to $149 while surcharges on all domestic routes will cost £13.50.

Meanwhile, the airline is joining forces with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to launch a worldwide awareness campaign to publicise the destination. It is also looking to further enhance its global routes.
