Bed bank Bluebookonline ceased trading yesterday, citing difficult trading conditions.

In a statement on the website, agents who have prepaid for forward bookings are asked to contact the trustee of the company's trust account. All payments are said to be secure.

Based in Tonbridge, Kent, the bed bank was set up as Worldwide Tailor Made Holidays in 1996. It became an Advantage preferred supplier last month.

Founded in 1996, the bed bank specialised in long haul travel, particularly to the United States.
