Attraction World has put tickets to see space shuttle Atlantis launch its 27th US mission into space on sale through the trade.

The once-in-a-lifetime experience will enable customers to book tickets to watch lift off of Atlantis from the Kennedy Space Centre in Orlando on October 8.

The attraction ticket specialist is offering the following packages:

• Regular:  £42 per adult and £38 per child, which includes viewing from the Rocket Garden within the park grounds
• VIP:  £55 per adult and £50 per child, which includes viewing from the LTT Causeway - a viewing site six miles from the launch pad and the closest place on the NASA property that the general public can use to view the space shuttle.

The launch is at 1.34am on October 8 and pick ups start from 5pm on October 7.

The packages also offer admission to the Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex.
