Superbreak Paris sales up 40% through agents

(22 July 2008)

Superbreak has reported a 40% growth in agency sales for its most popular European destination, Paris.

The sales growth means agents have now generated more than £1 million of business to the city in the last year where the operator now offers 147 properties.

Sales director Ian Mounser said: “Paris is our leading overseas destination and has performed well all year.

“There is good evidence that customers return to Paris more frequently that other European cities, perhaps because of its proximity to the UK and the ease in which you can now get there.

“To ensure agents are earning as much as possible from Paris, we have worked hard this year to build up a substantial portfolio of add-on attractions and excursions which can be pre-booked and help boost commission earnings.

“The introduction of Disneyland Paris tickets recently is an important step for us and means we can now cater for those looking for a complete theme park package.”
