Travelport GDS is to run a series of interactive training sessions for agents on its Galileo CarMaster product.

The Galileo Virtual Car Training courses give Galileo-connected agents the opportunity to interact with trainers in a ‘real-time’ classroom environment, from their own office.

Each course is split into three short modules, with sessions taking place over a two-day period. Courses will take place once a month from now until the end of the year.

Galileo’s Virtual Car Training covers all aspects of Galileo CarMaster functionality, including delivery and collection and the product’s recently introduced e-voucher functionality with Sixt and Hertz. 

Travelport GDS senior director hospitality and car rental Jane Lewis said: "Our trainers work through Powerpoint examples and show real availability searches and actual booking processes. They are also available to answer any questions."
