Deeping Travel boss John Lawrence has started an online petition to force ABTA to review its subscription increases.
The petition, started on Tuesday, has 45 signatures.
Minimum annual ABTA subscription costs have risen almost 39% following the association's merger with the Federation of Tour Operators on July 1.
Worldchoice member Deeping Travel has seen its annual ABTA subscription rise from £750 to £1,000. So far, Lawrence has refused to pay. He said: "Merging with the FTO will not bring more customers through my door. We must know where our money is going."
