Kuoni has bolstered its sales staff by employing a team of eight homeworkers to offer the trade a better service.

The homeworkers can be contacted outside normal working hours and can visit local customers in their homes or at work.

Sales director Manuel Mascarenhas said: "We are delighted to have eight homeworkers joining us. They have 110 years of travel experience between them and we could not have hoped for a more enthusiastic and passionate group of individuals who love selling dream holidays."

The new roles are in addition to the existing sales team at Kuoni.
