Carnival UK introduces surcharging

(06 June 2008)

Carnival UK has introduced a £4.50 fuel supplement per person per day in the wake of soaring fuel prices.

The surcharge will be levied across the cruise line’s P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Oceal Village, Cunard Line and Seabourn brands and is applicable on all new bookings made from now on.

The supplement will be applied to nearly every paying passenger, including reduced third and fourth person fares and reduced child fares places. Only free child places will be exempt from the charge.
