Mundi Color Holidays general manager Juan Iraola has announced he will leave the company at the end of the month to set up his own destination marketing organisation.
Iraola will be director of the new company J I Travel Consulting and has already won contracts to represent around seven companies including specialist hotel and winery group Haciendas de Espana and Danish tour operator Dinferie which is planning on launching a UK-facing direct-sale destination website.
He added: “I have worked in-house for most of my career with several leading companies and have, during this time, forged some excellent contacts.
“Many have encouraged me to work with them in a consultative capacity and I am looking forward to the new challenge - which will certainly be interesting and varied.”
No announcement has been made as to who will replace Iraola at Mundi Color.
