Sue Biggs presented with Outstanding Achievement Award

Sue Biggs was presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award for the Travel Weekly Globe Awards this week.

Sue was unable to make it to the award ceremony in January due to a family bereavement.

The former Kuoni UK country head starts her new job as Thomas Cook's managing director of scheduled businesses at the end of June.

She said: "I am over the moon to receive this award, it really means something at a time when I have finished 25 years at Kuoni and starting at Thomas Cook."

Bigg's division will oversee the recently-acquired Elegant Resorts.
