British Airways has said 17 return flights have been cancelled today from Heathrow's Terminal 5 as a result of yesterday's snow.
A spokesman said most of the cancellations were due to the fallout from the bad weather, rather than continuing baggage problems.
Chaos continued at Terminal 5 yesterday, when BA cancelled 72 return flights because of snowfalls. Both runways had to be closed at different times so they could be de-iced.
A technical glitch in the baggage system also caused the cancellation of 12 flights yesterday morning and a backlog of thousands of bags. By mid-morning, engineers had managed to fix the fault.
Meanwhile, airline pilots' union Balpa has said the catastrophic launch of Terminal 5 had made BA a "laughing stock".
It called for a different approach to management but said sacking chief executive Willie Walsh was not the answer.
