Tour operator and travel agent Leisure Direction has today gone into administration.
The company, which specialised in short breaks to Europe as well as skiing holidays, held a Civil Aviation Authority ATOL licence worth £315,00 covering 7,500 customers annually.
The company currently has only two customers overseas on holiday but it did have forward bookings for 2,080 customers. Much of the advance business has now been taken up by Erna Low and Leger Holidays.
The administration is being handled by Menzies Corporate Restructuring which handled the winding up and selling off of Travelscope after it went into administration before Christmas.
