Holiday Taxis adds South African transfers

(18 December 2007)

Holiday Taxis has added South Africa to its portfolio as part of a series of expansion plans.

Shared and private taxi transfers can be booked through www.holidaytaxis.com from Cape Town International Airport, Johannesburg Airport, Eastern Cape Port Elizabeth and Durban Airport.

Only private transfers are available from George Airport , while only shared services can be booked for Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.

Sales and marketing director Russell Parr said: "South Africa is a growing destination for UK holidaymakers which we aim to make a key part of our portfolio for 2008. Thousands of South Africans live in the UK and we're hoping to grab a slice of the valuable friends and family market, as well as tapping into the growing numbers of Brits buying second homes in South Africa."

The company plans to handle two million customers next year. From January it will operate in 72 countries, increasing to 100 by the middle of the year.
