Fred Olsen adds fuel supplement

(14 December 2007)

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines is the latest company to announce it will be implementing a fuel supplement on all bookings made from December 21.

The company will add a charge of £2.50 per person, per day.

There will be no additional charge for passengers booked in upper berths, and there will be a cap on the charge of £50.00 per person for long cruise itineraries.

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines said it has become necessary to add the supplement because of the increase in fuel costs.

Last week Royal Caribbean Cruises announced it would be adding £2.50 a day per person.
