Adventure tour specialist Imaginative Traveller has added new destinations and specialist trips to its 2008/09 Worldwide brochure.
The operator is capitalising on the emergence of Eastern Europe as a tourist destination by offering tours to Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, the Baltic States, the Czech Republic and Poland.
Other new destinations include the Galapagos Islands and Indonesia. Specialist photography and cuisine tours have also been added.
Marketing manager Heidi Hutchinson said: “We have responded to research from our destination managers and customer feedback by introducing a wide selection of new tours.
“The demands of the market are constantly changing and it is necessary to modify the programme on an ongoing basis to meet clients’ requirements.”
Hutchinson said although the operator’s direct sales are increasing, independent agents will continue to be its main source of bookings.
A 5% discount is available on early bookings and for repeat clients.
