Travel Weekly is now the exclusive trade media partner of the Institute of Travel and Tourism.
The announcement was made at this week’s ITT President’s Dinner in London, attended by senior people across the travel industry.
Speaking at the event, former Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy praised the travel trade for its contribution to the UK economy.
He told delegates: “Our business is so like your business. The consumer really is king.”
He also commented on chancellor Alistair Darling’s pre-budget report, claiming the Government had taken aspects of the Liberal Democrat transportation policy as well as some of the Conservative policies.
The ITT 2008 Conference will be held at the InterContinental Aphrodite Hills Resort hotel in Paphos, Cyprus, on June 9 to 11 2008.
