Escorted tour specialist Australian Pacific Touring has launched an online training programme to help agents understand its products.

As an incentive to sign up for the Australian Pacific Touring Xperts programme, the operator will enter agents who complete the scheme by December 24 into a prize draw to win a trip for two to Australia.

They will also receive a goody bag, exclusive travel deals on tours to Australia, New Zealand and Canada and fam trip opportunities.

Agents are asked to complete six modules and complete a 10-question quiz at the end of each one. Users can post questions and comments for other agents on a forum.

APT's product and marketing manager Janice Kurrle said: "We want to encourage agents to use the training programme as an ongoing resource and an interactive tool. We have devised a number of features such as quizzes linked to prizes, which we hope will keep agents coming back."
