BA signs three-year Amadeus deal - 31 May 2007

(31 May 2007)

British Airways has signed a three-year agreement with Amadeus that will see the airline's fare and inventory information distributed to the GDS’s travel agency partners.

British Airways’ head of marketing and distribution Tiffany Hall said: “This means that all four GDSs have now agreed to new contracts. This is good news for British Airways, the GDSs and the travel agents.”

Following the move, Amadeus will continue its opt-in programme in the UK and Ireland for British Airways bookings, giving its travel agency partners guaranteed access to BA’s full range of fares.
