Peter Deilmann Cruises’ twin owners Gisa and Hedda Deilmann
are hosting the line’s first twin-themed cruise on board Deutschland’s "A Fjord Symphony" cruise from June 4-14. Twins cruise are offering for the fare of one person and there are two-for one offers on board as well as specially provided entertainment.

Regent Seven Seas has launched a 2008 Cruise Atlas brochure and has introduced its Discovery Collection - a five-continent, 82-night itinerary on Seven Seas Navigator. Guests can cruise for durations of nine to 20 nights, or any combination of the itinerary, or the entire 82 nights.

Orient Lines has announced the launch of its 2007-08 programme, featuring a range of itineraries and more than 25 new ports of call. Its flagship, Marco Polo will sail in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, South America and Antarctica.

The Dover Harbour Board will invest £300 million in redevelopment, including four new ferry berths. A spokesman emphasised the port would be prepared for Carnival Splendour to sail from the port next summer.

Hurtigruten wants to launch an online learning scheme to complement training offered by the Niche Cruise Alliance. Sales manager Maxine Dunsdon said many agents are still unaware of its new name or range of product.

Costa Cruises is to double its capacity in Dubai this winter, with Costa Romantica and Costa Europa to take over from Costa Classica. The cruiseline has also added Mauritius to its 14-night Indian Ocean programme.
