ActiGlobe goes dynamic to chase online sales - 8 May 2007

(08 May 2007)

Travel firm ActiGlobe has implemented dynamic packaging and booking engine software to beef up its online operation.

The software from tech firm GoQuo will enable customers to package separate travel products such as flights and hotels and will also suggest products or combinations of products in a bid to boost cross selling.

“We realised that we could do much more with our website presence to deliver more choice for our customers and therefore more sales opportunity for the business," said ActiGlobe product and marketing manager Katerina Karakosta. “We’re confident we’ll soon see looks turning into bookings.”

The new software includes hotel and car booking engines, backed by XML links to providers, and a flight booking engine for consumers, complete with an insurance booking module.
