Wayn.com co-founder to speak on Web 2.0 - 26 Feb 2007

Travel community site Wayn.com co-founder Jerome Touze is to speak at the Travel Technology Initiative Spring conference on Web 2.0.

Touze will tell delegates how the travel industry can benefit from the worldwide community site, its investors includes Lastminute.com founder Brent Hoberman and Cheapflights chief executive David Soskin is among its founders.

Other speakers at the event include former Travelocity Germany managing director Jan Oetjen, Leger Holidays web development manager Michael Rhodes and flight booking site Dohop.co.uk chief executive Frosti Sigurjonsson.

TTI chairman Tony Allen said: “Web 2.0 is set to have a major impact on the travel sector second only to the advent of the Internet itself.”

The event takes place on Tuesday 24 April at The Institution of Engineering and technology, Savoy Place in London.
