Woolworths enters the online travel sector - 22 Jan 2007

(22 January 2007)

High street retailer Woolworths has entered the online travel arena through a white label deal with PPA Group.

Woolworths' site – www.woolworths.co.uk - is the third most visited website of the high street retailers.

Its travel site - which can be accessed from the homepage - will sell flights, hotel and car hire through PPA group’s dynamic packaging system.

PPA Group commercial director Graham Richardson claimed the power of the Woolworthsbrand will attract new customers to the online travel environment and increase consumer confidence in booking online.

PPA Group’s other white label travel clients include Asda and LBC radio.
