There are plenty of ways to get your clients out on the water – whether in a small dinghy or a 30ft yacht – all you need to do is assess their abilities.

If your clients are inexperienced sailors, suggest a Royal Yachting Association qualification course – despite the grand name, it’s affordable and available through specialist operators.

If you’re selling to old hands, the world really is their oyster – choose anything from flotilla holidays or bareboat charters from here to Australia.
