Cruising supplement 2006

(18 May 2006)

cruising supplement 2006 coverSo where are they all going?

THAT’S what we asked ourselves when we heard the ex-UK cruise market grew a massive 28% last year.

So in this year’s Cruising supplement, as well as explaining how to sell a cruise, manage your website and book the right cabin, we’ve included a business section to establish just where everyone is sailing to.

The Passenger Shipping Association has just released its 2005 statistics and, for anyone involved in cruising, they’re an essential read.

You’ll find breakdowns of performance against geographical locations, plus pages analysing the luxury, niche, budget, river-cruising, three-star and four-star sectors.

This is one of the busiest years for ship launches, so it’s more important than ever to keep up-to-date with cruise product.

Sign up for a training programme, get out on the ships, or just study this supplement and keep it on your desk. Whatever you do, remember this is boom-time – make sure the high earnings available from cruise sales don’t pass you by. Happy sailing!
