Round leaves Luton Airport

(24 June 2004)

LUTON Airport sales and marketing manager Mandy Round is leaving after six years to join the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Round will take up the director of northern Europe role on August 23 and will be responsible for the UK and Irish markets, in addition to the Nordic and Middle East regions.

She joined Luton Airport in 1998 and has been a key player in its growth as a major low-cost airline centre. She has also held positions at Eurotunnel, Lunn Poly, Stakis Hotels and Hogg Robinson.

Round will report into Europe, Africa and the Middle East regional director Kevin Welch.

The post became vacant last December when previous incumbent David Dean resigned.
