AIRTOURS Holidays has launched a Star Buys brochure
with rewards for early bookers to “earn their trust”.
The brochure, for all travel agents, contains
Airtours’ most popular accommodation.
Early bookers are offered a choice of two child places
for £1, up to 25% or up to £300 per couple off the Summersun 2004 brochure
price. Marketing director Robin Parry said Airtours was continuing to encourage
holidaymakers to book early but said consumers were cynical about industry
offers such as free insurance or kids’ places.
“We want to change this and earn their trust. The
first step is to simplify our offers.”
Airtours is offering 250,000 guaranteed free child
places and no flight supplements on more than 70% of its summer flying
programme. There is also up to £500 per couple off Airtours Sun Cruises and a
10% discount on all long-haul holidays in its Far and Away programme.
Offers apply to new bookings made on or before
February 29.
