MYTRAVEL is poised to drop active support for First
Choice or Thomas Cook through Going Places after a deal to sell TUI products
for the first time in a decade.
The commercial agreement ends the public feud between
the two companies, triggered when Lunn Poly put MyTravel products off sale
after Airtours’ advertising campaign six months ago.
It means both group’s products will be actively
promoted in each other’s shops, with racking and window promotions.
