OTC acquires hotel specialist

(26 September 2002)

THE Online Travel Corporation has acquired Internet accommodation specialist All-Hotels, operators of the All-hotels.com brand, in a deal worth £1.4 million.

The move will enable OTC to offer a wider range of properties both to its travel trade partners and to consumers using its own websites. OTC also plans to cross sell its range of travel products including packages and flights, to All-hotels’ customers.

The All-hotels brand is to be retained and the company will remain in its Edinburgh headquarters.

OTC chief executive officer Mark Jones said: “The company brings OTC significantly increased hotel content, technology and expertise, coupled with a major hotel brand to our portfolio of websites.”
