TRAVEL agents with satellite offices can save money issuing airline tickets thanks to a new system created by Amadeus.

The Satellite Ticket Delivery Offices solution enables agents with an International Air Transport Association licence to print and issue tickets at non-IATA satellite locations.

The result will be lower courier costs and agencies will only have to purchase a full IATA licence for their central office.

Amadeus UK marketing director Mark Lewsey said: “Centralising the system while maintaining remote ticketing gives our customers the best of both worlds, by giving them the flexibility to print tickets from any location while maintaining the control and issue of data from a central point.”
