MARRIOTT Hotels has brought forward the roll out its new high-tech conferencing facilities to properties across the UK within the next three months in an effort to drive corporate business following the US terrorist attacks.

The decision follows a trial of the technology at 12 hotels. Marriott hopes to exploit the trend for companies to reduce travel costs by using alternative methods of communication, such as video conferencing.
