INDIVIDUAL US states have banded together to promote the US as a single entity while the country suffers from falling bookings.

The Visit USA Association and the Travel Industry Association of America have persuaded the states to back a single advertising campaign for the US, despite usually preferring to go it alone with promotions.

The campaign, under the See America banner, will see widespread advertising in the press and at World Travel Market over the coming months.
