FRENCH construction firm Vinci has pulled out of a takeover bid for airport operator TBI.

Vinci had been unable to acquire the 90% of shares needed for the deal to go ahead.

If the deal had been successful, Vinci would have taken control of Belfast International, Luton and Cardiff airports.
