TAJ HOTELS is to launch a new group of boutique style hotels in Europe and the USA.

The hotels will feature between 80 and 150 rooms and the first is expected to open in New York. Taj plans to open three hotels over the next 30 months.

Possible destinations include Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Frankfurt and a country-house hotel in the UK.

The project will be overseen by Taj vice president business development and operations for Europe and the Americas Bernard de Villèle.
