eurostar reveals details of timetable alterations

(30 August 2001)

EUROSTAR is advising travellers to allow extra time for their journeys because of engineering works on the high-speed rail line in France.

Until December, journeys from London or Ashford to Paris are likely to take 10 minutes longer than usual while journey times between Paris to either Ashford or London are likely to be extended by 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, because of construction on Britain’s high-speed rail link, there will be timetable alterations on Saturdays: September 22, October 6, October 13, November 10, November 17 and Sunday, September 23.

In addition, trains will not stop at Ashford International on the following weekends: September 22-23, October 6-7 and November 3-4.
